ADO Board Committee Openings

E-Blast Chair
Committee chair is responsible for content of frequent, emailed communications out to membership. E-Blast coordinator drafts the copy or is sent copy by the board/committee who requests an e-blast. Need to be in touch with board members and committee members on news of ADO. Work with ADO website designer to get blasts out to membership.

Lunch Meeting Chair
Arranging /coordinating speakers for the remainder of the 2012 year’s lunch meetings. Handling speaker needs, A/V requests, etc. Work with ADO co-presidents to make sure speakers are in line with ADO mission and recent membership survey responses.

Peter Herraro – Spotlight on Service

Most ADO members know Peter Herraro, Jr. by his smile and welcoming presence as he hosts our monthly ADO functions at his Sam’s of Gedney Way restaurant and catering facility. But what most people might not know, however, is that Peter is a champion of children’s causes in our area and a noted philanthropist.

New ADO Scholarship Program

ADO has always supported members who needed assistance with scholarships for ADO Day and other ADO-sponsored events. Recently, the board of directors decided to expand its member scholarship program.
