ADO is the founder of National Philanthropy Day in Westchester, and celebrates the day with an event that brings attention to the importance of charitable giving.

Fund Raiser of the Year Awards
ADO sponsors awards to recognize outstanding fund raising professionals and highlight their important work.

Scholarship Program
ADO provides membership scholarships to qualifying nonprofit agencies.

Educational Seminars
Monthly luncheon seminars that feature highly qualified experts on various fund raising topics.

Annual Conference
ADO Day is the only educational conference targeted to fund raisers living and/or working in the Hudson Valley area.

Educational Workshops
Special workshops (e.g. computer software) that provide opportunities to exchange information, ideas and expertise.

Non-profit Fund Raising and Board Development Course
In collaboration with SUNY Purchase, ADO will co-sponsor a Fund Raising and Board Development Certificate Program in fall, 2005.

Networking Opportunities
Monthly meetings provide unique opportunities for fund raising professionals to discuss their organization’s development activities with colleagues. ADO publishes an annual membership directory.
